She can paint; she can play the piano; she can ride horses; she play sports; she can talk a mile a minute. Afeefah is from the country side of North Carolina, a small town called Robersonville. Bears walk around outside her house. She is an art major at A&T, bound to be a teacher like her mom and grandmother. Next year she plans on trying out for the volleyball team.

And maybe one day she'll learn a little about computers and get an e-mail address, join us in the 20th century and perhaps even check out her picture here in The Beauty Shop.
