WHY WE BUY PREORDER Giveaway — OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Sponsor. David Gaines. 9176 Winton Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, United States.

  2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and D.C. who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. The Sponsor's employees and their immediate families are not eligible.

  3. Entry Period. Entries are accepted from June 29th, 2026 at 11:59pm EDT through October 31st, 2026 at 11:59 EST.

  4. How to Enter. Enter by either method:
    (a) Purchase entry: Preorder Why We Buy, and Why It Matters during the Entry Period and submit your receipt through the form at davidgaines.com/presale or davidgaines.com (home page).
    (b) Free entry: Sign up for the David Gaines email list using the form above. Include your full name and email address. Must confirm subscription through email. No purchase required.
    Limit one entry per person. Entries from both methods have an equal chance of winning.

  5. Prizes.
    Grand Prize (1 winner): a bundle featuring La Terza Coffee, a Cotopaxi bag, a Thistle Farms candle, and Soapbox soaps. Approximate retail value: $[].
    Runner-Up Prizes (3 winners): each receives a bag of La Terza Coffee plus one additional featured product. Approximate retail value: $[] each.
    Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $[__]. Prizes are not transferable. No cash substitution, though the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if needed.

  6. Odds. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

  7. Winner Selection. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing on or about November 1st, 2026 from all eligible entries. Winners will be notified by email and must respond within five [5] days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond, an alternate winner may be drawn.

  8. Conditions. By entering, you agree to these rules and to the Sponsor's decisions, which are final. The Sponsor may disqualify any entry that tampers with the process.

  9. Brand Affiliation. Featured products are offered as prizes only. This sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Cotopaxi, Thistle Farms, Soapbox, or any featured company other than the Sponsor.

  10. Platform Disclaimer. This sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or any other platform.

  11. Winners List. To request the names of the winners, email hello@davidgaines.com after November 2nd, 2026.
